Cares!

I love

my Samar!

It's too early and

the sun is too bright

I love my

Pacific Ocean!

Mud beaches and the beautiful Pacific Ocean,

the only sand is at Guiuan and Catarman, N. Samar

The whole Pacific Ocean

looking from the balcony.

1800 Pesos for this was away over priced

the owner from China should go down to

Tacloban City and spend one night at the

De Angelo Hotel ... A real Hotel

and find out how it is done..

But to other travelers I recommend Staying in Tacloban or Catbalogan rather than anything in Borongan

It's still the nicest in in Borongan Eastern Samar. Big Room for your car.. Little room for you!

Get your food somewhere else.

Just Pancit and Chopsouey.

It's beautiful Croak.. croak

I may be tired, but this room is awfully Small!

I still have to do all these Photos!!!

As a Boronganon, I do appreciate that you were able to post in the internet the nice photos of one of the hotels in Borongan. That's truly how the place looks like; the beach front, the hotel itself and even the calm and peaceful Lalawigan beach. I only feel sad with some of your photo captions...Our beaches in Borongan never become mud beaches, although its not white sand but its too far from what you called "mud beaches". Next time, try your best to visit those beautiful places in Borongan like those two islands that you can see whenever you will face unto the pacific ocean, 'cause you will find white sand beaches there. Those comments and additional informations posted by Rolly Siatela and Jenna Mayatt are all real and can be found in Borongan. If your lady is a native of Borongan like me; she was able to brought you into those beautiful places or tourist spots there. Anyway, it's an honor for the Boronganon like me to see a part of our place in the internet.

Your lady companion is obviously not from Borongan because otherwise, she would have brought you to the more scenic and picturisque places in Borongan. The beaches at Punta Maria and at Ando and Divinubo islands (off the city) are white with caves you could have explored to see ancient human remains (long-boned leg skeletons). Or you have gone mountain-trekking to see spectacular waterfalls and experience shooting the river rapids in the company of experienced river boatmen or local folk. But admittedly, the local cuisine cannot compete with what obviously you were looking for were five-star accomodations which is clearly not available in a far-flung city from Metro Manila.

Nice pictures, just not sure about the comments on the pictures. Best Eastern is not the only place left in Borongan... and beach is not mud...and there are quite a few internet cafe in Borongan, i know 9 of them. Maybe next time you come back have a look around and you will see what I mean.... Hotel Dona Vicenta is a nice place to stay, Pirates Cove is another, there are quite a lot, and ok, for foreigners, it will be a bit difficult to find a decent food, but as I say you have to look around. Pebbles and Tides do nice food, which you may like. Good Chow is another, located at the Uptown Mall. obviously, Loida is not from this town that she wasn't able to show you around...
